:APH:The Day The World Stopped

On April 26, 1986 one of the reactors at the Chernobyl power plant near Pripyat, Ukraine went critical, releasing massive amounts of radiation that spread all across Europe, some even reaching the United States. The cause of the disaster was a malfunction within the plant that caused the radioactive core to become exposed.

Right now the only thing keeping the radiation from spreading now is a decaying concrete sarcophagus.
The radiation inside Chernobyl is enough to destroy Europe if the concrete tomb keeping it from doing so was completely destroyed.

I'd been wanting to draw a Hetalia/Chernobyl based pic for sometime because even though I know there are pictures like that out there I haven't seen very many.
I'm so proud of this picture, I figured out so many things while messing with it.
I learned how textures can make your picture look epic |D
